cmon peoples. obviously that is the point (NY state of mind), why do you think their entire first season was the way it was. Gourmet takes classic silhouettes and makes them more wearable, simplifies them, and just makes them overall better. There are a million shoe brands out there that create completely unique styles. doesnt mean you dont have to buy their shoes as well. Some people buy Gourmet because of their amazing ability to take a style you know and make it better. However most people that buy Gourmet have no idea, they just love the shoes cuz its cool. Most of their buyers dont know what hypebeast is. Also, (Big Fan) you should love the fact that Gourmet that you dont see people rocking Gourmet. Because it won’t last. and one day you wont wear Gourmet as much because EVERYONE has it. Like a Creative Rec. So good thing your on it early. And last, i seen their Holiday and Spring, and let me just say you aint seen nothing yet. And last last, Jon is fat.

Gourmet has come along well but now they probably should find that fine balance between diluting their brand with too many shoe models that have already been done before by other companies, sometimes less is more. The collection is just O.K. for me-I think I’m falling out of love:(

I like gourmet, the way they use colors and fabrics is very unique. But! All of their silhouettes are not original and I am not stating this because I am trying to put them down or hate because I know and we have all seen it’s hard to come up with a successful footwear style that has never been done, but their designs are so clearly the same as other well known sneakers. The first ones are the reebok s.cater’s, and the last ones are addidas superstars and the rest are Nike and vans designs. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, is that their whole point, n I missed it, or did they really think that making the same sneakers done before but more simplistic would make them harder to notice the identical design. I do like gourmet but this bugs me out.

i dont get the therapeutic nurse shoe soles on the first two. I hope they dont make either of those in white. On the other hand if they do they may appeal to that ever growning male nurse niche, and generate some sales.

Gourmet is the best kept secret. These guys are quietly creating the new standard.

This is one of the better looking seasons Gourmet has had in my opinion. Hopefully it translates into sales. I never see anyone rocking Gourmet. I have 3 differet pairs that I keep in my rotation, but it is a crime that I dont see more with pairs in their rotation.
