Following the announcing of the adidas MEGA collection, the archival aesthetics meets technologically advanced range continues on its hybrid path. Maintaining some notable references to its past while integrating some visible technology, the collection features both basketball-centric models as well as running-based styles.

What exactly is this.? a collaboration with Nike..? do you realise Nike only have 25 years of heritage, (which they fabricate anyway,) as they built their business from repilcating adidas products…

    These are adidas???!! You absolutely sure??!! They look just like some cheap nasty fake from Hong Kong !!

    Seriously, I can only asume that someone at adidas was drunk when they came up with these. Sooooooooooooooooo unbeliveably UGLY!!! These are only “original” in the same way that a cow on a bicycle juggling bags of concrete while reciting Shakespeare is “original”….they may be new, but they’re totally useless to anyone.

    Its a big shame that adidas seem happy to ignore the beatiful shoes they made in their history – I thought that was what their “originals” range was all about, not monstrosities like this.

    Quite dismayed with Adidas, Originals used to indicate a trip down memory lane with re-issued trainers that one could only ever dream of seeing again, the Adidas back catalogue is unbelievable, I could name 100 pairs off the top of my head that I would kill for!! Adidas seems content on releasing junk- how much more can they squeeze out of Stan Smiths, Rod lavers, Forest Hills, PT’s, Samba’s etc
    What about like for like re-issues of Adidas Bern, Koln, Wimbledon, Trimm Star, Baltic, Barcelona, Davis Cup, Masters, Trimm Master, Korsika – the list is endless!!
    Come on Adidas, the latest originals range might suit the current generation but do you really think Adi Dassler would approve???

    So can you actually work out in these? I didn’t know Adidas made Performance shoes in their Originals range. If anyone can confirm this, that would be nice to know before I go out and bust an ankle trying to jog in these.
