Terry Kennedy x Supra “The Stacks”

Supra drop this first look into Terry Kennedy’s follow-up signature to his high-top model, the Society. “The Stacks” features a clean toebox with two colors on the horizon, a black leather canvas version seen here as well as a grey suede canvas version. A release date is slated for the month of May at select Supra dealers.

    It’s not even color way (looks like they tried to go aqua j’s)-they have to many other shoes mixed in. Vans set it off with their chukka then mad years later nike did their version the sabuku. Then vans cut the chukka down and made a low-which killed it in every aspect. Nike still tried to catch up with the popularity of the original vans chukka they made the toki-all the while making a low top chukka (aka the stefan janoski) It also has a “salt pepper” feel to them (the new release from nike sportswear) Now every other company sees the popularity of this basic shoe (it’s cheaper to make too) -and like always its the new “new”. It just recycled-some company do they’re own flair with it -some dont. We’ve seen the “vulcanized rubber sole” pop the “air bag” or even cup sole shoes-so whats next? back to the air bag or some new shit. Helium in the sole like the Iverson 1′s ?? React juice , catapults , led lights in the sole? Interesting.
