Harajuku was recently given another retail space as legendary outdoors company The North Face opened a new concept space in Japan’s fashion mecca. Massive in size, the space consists of four floor, each taking on a distinct theme, with the fourth floor being made available as a gallery for exhibitions and receptions. In addition, THE NORTH FACE STANDARD will be carrying unique collaborative product, developed with a selection of well-known fashion brands, fusing the performance aesthetic of The North Face with Harajuku’s storied fashion culture. Images from the opening can be seen below, with photography by Neil Hartmann.
