The always fashionable feature-film director Spike Jonze recently sat down with the owners of Opening Ceremony. Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, the boutique’s owners, tell Spike all about their start, their surging and much-deserved popularity, and also their co-productions with various famous and soon-to-be-famous designers. They also dish on their plans for expansion and offer up a first-hand look at all the wonderful sorts who danced along to sets by Dirty Projectors and DJ Solange Knowles at the opening party for their newest outpost in NYC’s ACE Hotel.
