Parisian hotspot colette recently hosted an exhibition for the man behind Purple Fashion magazine, Olivier Zahm. The show focused on Zahm’s Purple Diary, which launched almost a year ago. His pictures can be read as a guide to his favorite places: the Montana, the Brasserie Lipp, and the Cafe de Flore in Paris, Standard hotel and the Omen restaurant in NY. His diary, figurative as it is, complements the magazine and holds up a mirror to our times. Images of the opening can be seen below, a show that featured a wide selection of Zahm’s favorite photographs of the more than 10,000 photos taken since 2005. For those planning to visit, this exhibition will remain open through April 3rd, 2010.
