Designer and illustrator Christoph Niemann paid homage last year to his hometown of New York City with a series of LEGO-based pieces referencing iconic aspects of the city’s culture. Becoming a popular aspect of his Abstract City blog on The NY Times, Niemann’s visual concept has made its way into book form this year with Abrams Books. The book includes a series of depictions ranging from Nathan’s Hotdog, the Statue of Liberty, a Metrocard and the Subway Series. The book is available now at Abramsbooks.com and Amazon.
