    nah, it’s because canvas is cheap. economy being what it is and china business being what it is canvas and textiles are a good way to keep margins nice and deliver product.

    as a designer, it’s a little bit nicer than seeing pu, action and synthetic leathers. besides the right stuff can make for a nice shoe.
