A strong visual identity has always been part of UNDFTD’s aesthetic as we see a few interpretations of the UNDFTD logo as well as the addition of accessories.

Take away the undefeated logo’s and tags and what do you have seriously? You got Gap or Jcrew or some department store in house brand. Minus the quality. Come on guys unique? What is unique about this? Undefeated used to be undefeated but now you gotta say they have a couple of losses.

Yeah, basic is nice for sure. What’s wrong with chinos “ironcharity?” hah. An article of “Loud” clothing is nice to mix up an outfit, but you can’t really hate on simplicity; or as someone else on here said start lookin’ at other companies my friend.

I feel ya ya boi. I got into streetwear because of all of the great graphics and non-traditional approaches to design and clothes. Now it seems to be getting very “grown” should I say, but I think it’s a reflection of the changing times and the age group of people who rock streetwear.

I’m a fan of basic clothing and these clothes are an example of where the streets(American public in general) are right now khaki, crew neck sweaters and dark rinsed denim… everything understated… these are clothes you can wear everyday… these are clothes that don’t speak for you

so true. My boy had this Alife Crewneck and I had a Undefeated Crew from at least 2 years ago. Not only were they similar, they were exactly the same. Same front pocket, same stitching, logos in the same spots. Exactly the same, well xcept his was black and said Alife and mine was olive drab and said UNDFTD. They been doin this for a minute.

it’s similar to a new hip-hop artist and their matriculation through the game, they come in the gae with fire on their ass, they got shit to prove, and one of those things to prove is their originality. after its all said and done and a few millz are made, either the artist continues to do their own things, or they conform to commercial music and make music for the money instead of the people that fucked with them form the jump, so now streetwear brands dun made some dumb money off this boom in streetwear and now they’re just commercial brands that came up through streetwear. Supreme, Stussy, UDFTD, etc… are no longer underground, they are as commercial as abercrombie. nothings wrong with making cash, but don’t loose your niche in the meantime.

Supreme, Stussy, UDFTD, etc… are no longer underground, they are as commercial as abercrombie. nothings wrong with making cash, but don’t loose your niche in the meantime.

  • ya boi’s boi

it’s similar to a new hip-hop artist and their matriculation through the game, they come in the gae with fire on their ass, they got shit to prove, and one of those things to prove is their originality. after its all said and done and a few millz are made, either the artist continues to do their own things, or they conform to commercial music and make music for the money instead of the people that fucked with them form the jump, so now streetwear brands dun made some dumb money off this boom in streetwear and now they’re just commercial brands that came up through streetwear. Supreme, Stussy, UDFTD, etc… are no longer underground, they are as commercial as abercrombie. nothings wrong with making cash, but don’t loose your niche in the meantime.

it’s the direction of streetwear: minimalism at its finest. if you dont like it, go back to the brands you listed with all their neon colors and obnoxious designs

undefeated has always been basic, if its uniqueness and craziness you are looking for for them you aren’t gonna find it, thats how its always been with them plain and basic

  • LemonHead

This guys name is Chandler. He goes to school at Boston College. He is a lighthearted fellow with an urban edge. He loves the Beastie Boys and sometimes rocks out to Dropkick Murphys. His photographer major girlfriend shot these pictures. She is a freshman so please forgive the quality of the editing(out of focus, bad cropping). It was a beautiful day at the beach. I think they got some great facebook shots. Pretty weak showing shoe store brand. Know your consumer and get off your own nutz.

i disagree with u guys. i understand the point your making but by going down to wat looks to be a somewhat preppy route in these pictures, they are taking a step out of the typical streetwear look. the whole flashy, loud, and colorful look is done and has been done. maybe i grew out of it, i duno but this stuff is pretty tight. but yea i agree with the whole slapping the name brand across the chest thing. but its done tastefully and the fit and colors used are working. this is stuff that grown men can actually wear and not just young hypebeasts. thats just my opinion.

Ya Boi I agree with you this looks like American Eagle shit. Stuff like this first motivated me to create my own shirts. I think that people keep trying to create slimmed down streetwear and really part of the fun of streetwear is the crazyness and uniqueness of the clothing. I want a shirt that says something, not some shirt with a fucking brand name across the front, even if it is a streetwear brand. At least try to do it in a creative manner. I don’t think you’re getting old man I think streetwear is getting diluted and trying to conform too much to standards that dont even exist.

y is everybrand going so basic i got into to streetwear bcuz everything was so original from mainstream lines… each brand (ie hundreds, mishka, lemar and dauley etc.) had a uniqueness all their own but it seems that all these brands are looking alike, while in fact they are nice it just sucks to see…. eh, maybe im gettin old or its just a sign of the times….
