Smack dab in the center of Berlin is Civilist Berlin, a new retail store opened by Alex Flach, a senior photo editor for famed Berlin-based publication Lodown Magazine. Civilist stocks some of the scene’s more popular brands, tying back to the store’s background in skateboarding. Labels such as HUF, DQM, Fucking Awesome, Anything, OHWOW, P.A.M, NORSE, RANSOM, Altamont, Vans Syndicate, NIKE SB and Girl Skateboards are offered, with the space doubling up as a gallery space for exhibitions as well.
