adidas Originals 2010 Spring Collection Nizza High “Zip”

adidas Originals release the Nizza High under a familiar theme this season with their “Zip’ pack. If the Tanker colorway of the Porter Five-Two 3 collection was a bit understated for your tastes, new in-line colors inject some color into the one-time basketball sneaker. A vertical zipper is incorporated into the heel for easy entry. For more details, refer to the press release below.

The Nizza is an iconic archive piece that has superseded its original purpose as a lightweight basketball shoe to become a staple item in the adidas catalogue and, thanks to its clean upper – essentially a blank canvas – a favourite of collaborators seasonally.

Last season saw a pairing between the dons of contemporary Japanese luggage, Porter and the humble Nizza as part of the Five-Two 3 ‘Brands Pack’ that introduced the unique concept of a zip at the rear of the hi-top for quick, unfettered access, albeit in extremely limited numbers.

Following on from this success, the zip-up Nizza returns in 4 colourways and a wider distribution to appease those who didn’t manage to cop the Five-Two 3 iteration first time round.

Featuring a durable, synthetic upper with solid, single colour blocking and matching 3-Stripes, the clean feel of the silhouette is furthered through the vulcanised midsole and foxing that matches the colourway to the upper.The YKK zipper at the back is the star attraction of the shoe and is integrated subtly enough that the silhouette doesn’t lose any appeal, while adding unquestionable functionality.

Available in Black, Navy, Red and Olive from selected adidas Originals retailers.

    the US release of the porter collab was trash which is why i didn’t cop. @ BKE420, if you were able to snatch the quality version of the collab, the tongue actually had a porter tag and not just the adidas logo — that’s how you could tell the difference between the porter release and this new version. also nizzaking, i completely agree, mark bizzle is obviously a faggot.

    Damn….why keep the Porter joints if they gonna general release the same exact shoe?!
    U can’t tell em different from that black pair…except for the color of the inner lining.

    ok here’s my beef..p/u’d the blk porter collabs. for 150 at Huf SF. you can’t tell the fucking difference between the porters and these blk ones. also having problems with side sep(were the shoe breaks). kinda pissed adidas pulled this on the blk ones…nice colorway release except for the blk ones. p a b adidas…
