Everybody’s favorite sneaker retailer UNDFTD enters the scene early in 2010 with another collaborative effort. This time linking up with adidas Originals’ Consortium range, the model at hand is the Rod Laver OG. The shoe’s clean lines are further highlighted by a simple navy blue suede upper with select detailing on the eyelets, tongue and heel. Available this month at select adidas Originals Consortium dealers.

Rod Laver OG – Undftd – Consortium

Following on from the success of the implementation in FW09 the Rod Laver OG is back due to popular acclaim and looks like becoming a staple item in the Consortium range moving forward.

Kicking things off amongst the US Consortium partners in January is LA’s UNDFTD with another understated take on the re-interpreted classic.
The rich, deep blue suede upper contrasts perfectly with the soft, caramel Italian leather lining – a touch that carries through to heel tab, trim and embossed Consortium logo on the sockliner.

Finished with the UNDFTD five-bar logo and the Trefoil both embossed on the tongue, the shoe is a clean-cut winner that is bound to stay in high demand.

    huh? These are clean!….why are heads hating on simple style?

    vagabond, just because the shoe is on sale doesn’t mean the quality, look and concept is questionable! It means you can buy the shoe u want for a better price (duh!). Go ahead and pay more money for shoes, if you think that makes the shoe better? (ur right if it’s all the same collabs though, that’s kinda weak, they left out HUF n Proper)

    I have to agree with Vagabond on this, the last Rod Lavers. I bought 5 pairs. Surely Adidas can try something else. I did enjoy the city series, hope to see more of them.
