anon i’m going to ride w/ you on this. more criticism (not cynicism) like his is needed to inspire brands to be more original. culture in general has become stagnant and uninspired because people are to afraid or banal to challenge the status quo. forums like this should be about exchange of different opinions. as for your detractors. we have one guy saying “do your research” who if he’d done his wouldn’t even have posted his comment. another one deriding the use of “nigga” when 90% of the songs blasting out of his scion probably contain it. like jeru said “you’re playing yourself”.

Anon has his points. But im sure Huf put in their hard work. Im just wondering if these brand expose~ or video clips is a new marketing scheme for these economic times. Most of the street wear labels have it tough right now. Oh well, guess its good that the crisis kills the less creative street wears and stimulate innovation within the industry.

Anon, you seem to be a very cynical person. I think you’re in love with yourself….. writing a 200 word essay to defend your opinions. Also, you sound stupid typing “nigga” inside your paragraphs of rants. I’m not agreeing, or disagreeing with your opinions. I just think you’re rude, with no class.

James you wouldn’t know research if it bit you in the ass.
People, there is nothing about this collection (used loosely) that is different than any of the other brands now taking a run at shoes the last few years.
At the end of the day it’s about brand loyalty… You like HUF’s shit & his “logo” & his whole f%ckin’ steelo then you rock his shit… Don’t act like any sort of research needs to be done about any f%ckin’ thing.
Kids like The Hundreds, they buy their shoes now… Like HUF, you buys his shoes, C&C, same thing & on & on etc. It’s not like HUF opened a f%cking factory & is doing this shit from scratch. He had a guy most likely create a last (FYI a last is an actual shoe shape, a mold) & they most likely work out of the same factory producing ten other brands. It’s the logo (brand identity) that interests people. Which is all good, that’s what 90% of this f%ckin’ website is about, I could care less & certainly understand the concept. I was just saying, the damn H is very Hermes…
Personally, I like to wear shoes made by companies that started in (& specialize in) actually making shoes. That’s just me…
But please nigga, I understand branding.
& squirrel, you have no idea who is on these sites & bother to waste their time typing comments. You have absolutely no idea (take yourself for instance, you’re probably a f%ckin’ kingpin right? & you’re cool enough to bless us with your presence)… But, that’s what the comments section is for, discussion idiot. What do you want 16 dick-rider comments & no dissent? That’d be neat.
I could be Keith Hufnagel & have typed in some logo comment to stimulate dialog & see who has my back… Or I could be one of his niggas… Or work for him… Or operate a competing brand & be interested in what herbs like you have to say… Or own the f%cking factory producing his line… Or be the guy that designed the shit….
    Etc etc…
Anyway, no hate you sheep… Just trying to stimulate dialogue.
GO KEITH get your f%ckin’ money nigga, these new shoes are ILL SON! Is that better? Because at the end of the day it’s certainly my sentiment regardless of my comment on his logo.

Gotta take my hat off to them. For their first run of shoes, they did a great job. Seeing them in person, the quality and materials are on point. Much better than many brands that have been making shoes for a few seasons now. The prices are going to be reasonable as well. I see these shoes doing very well.

Great… Another H logo to go with the ones Hermes & Hogan already do… It couldn’t be more similar.
I guess it would take another level of actual creativity to come up with something else. I mean, the H is an obvious choice right. “hey men love the shoes, noticed the H, those are Huf right?”… So okay than great, good luck with them Keith.
