Benny Gold offers up a preview of the upcoming Expedition Series from Gravis. Having worked on the graphics portion of the project, Benny does an excellent job as usual, helping tie in the entire “Park Ranger” aesthetic into a cleverly conceived and well-executed capsule. A selection of bags and footwear make up the collection. Stay tuned as further details come to light.

    I agree. The patches take a well designed and refined product, and make it seems as if it came from the junior outdoor section of a department store. They should have taken a cue from Head Porter and the likes, keeping a simple and well designed logo that doesn’t distract from the product itself.

    i don’t want to come off like a hater, and i’m NOT referring to Benny’s work, but Gravis always seems to miss it. i agree about the patches and that boat shoe atrocity is just inexusable-i’ll even raise your steve madden reference to Skechers! The colors and mixed materials look nice (is that waxed cotton and leather?), but overall how do you back it?
