Barry McGee is among an eclectic and well-respected cast of artists current in the midst of preparing works for SFMOMA’s 75th anniversary exhibition. A familiar figure over the years, Barry McGee’s installation features a large-scale layering of his work over top a wooden prop.

    Excited about this show! I remember discovering him at the Deitch Projects in 1998. I had no idea who he was but I was in awe. If anyone gets a chance to see him you should. Wish I was in San Fran. : (
