adidas’ latest performance running models have taken some subtle cues from their forefathers. Last year, one of our favorite running releases was the adidas ZX 8000 2009, an updated version of the iconic ZX 8000 that was created especially for the Boston Marathon. This year, the adidas Running Marathon 10 looks to the original adidas Marathon 80 for reference as a contemporary update on the 30-year-old original. The Marathon 10 has hit select retailers in a series of different and bold colors as well as some tributes to the originals. Additionally, runner Grete Waitz partnered with adidas so 5% of the proceeds from the Marathon 10 will go toward her cancer care foundation “Aktiv mot kreft.”.
