The Spiz’ike Boot features an upper very closely modeled on the original Spiz’ike, reworked with a reinforced ‘boot body’ and midsole. Maintaining some of the key Jordan fusion elements from original sneakers, such as the triangular lace holders (from the Jordan 4), the lace lock and mesh (from the Jordan 5), and the tongue of the (Jordan 6). The upper mixes nubuck and other leathers, with pieces textured to imitate the now-classic elephant print. The outsole is blue with light speckling, a common theme among the Jordan fusion series. The heel sports the likeness of Spike Lee’s iconic character “Mars Blackmon”, most well-known in the sneaker world for being the pitch-man for Air Jordan commercials in the early 90’s. This Flint-grey/Cherrywood/Nightshade colourway is set to drop at House of Hoops stores in December.
