New York-based artist Rostarr brings his intricate artistic style to the Converse PRODUCT (RED) campaign with a special makeup of the classic Chuck Taylor All-Star. The Canvas sneakers receive a black/red/white color treatment representing ceremonial African masks focusing on moral, social, and religious undertones. This release provides yet another artist geared project to support the (RED) project, an initiative to build awareness and raise money for humanitarian efforts. Retailing for $70, the Rostarr x Converse sneakers are slated for a March 2009 drop.
