The legendary Kool Keith makes his return and unleashes a new track entitled 2 Scoops. Known for his abstract lyrical content and bringing forth the “horrorcore” sub-genre of Hip Hop, Kool Keith was an integral part of pushing forward Hip Hop in it’s infancy stages. No word on the placement of this track, but it’s fair to say it may have been recorded prior to Death of Autotune. Check it out.

    Last I heard of Kool Keith, he was in Japan with Verbal. I was kind of hoping they’d team up for some music and not just gimmicks.

    I always have to remind myself that Keith’s been retired since Ultramagnetic’s “Big Tyme” album and has become a very wack MC. The styles and beats that earned him his legendary status are now gone and every new release is worse than the previous.
