top tens are sentimental old skool favs…dig the orange nylon exterior concept to go with my blk nizza porters and olive poormans. but the star wars theme??? killed it.

The Mil-Falcons and the AT-ATs look doable but…in a reaching sort of way. Adidas needs to realize that less is more.

The X-Wing sambas are awesome! You can tell that the adidas designers are huge Star Wars fans because the details they chose to integrate are great nods to the source material – Darth’s leatherette stitching, Leia’s gold slivers, Biggs’ Red Three mark by the X-Wing heel, the tie-fighter’s panels by the cuff, the AT-AT’s red eye (squint and you’ll see how it reveals), the Falcon’s rusted panels, Yoda’s frayed robe fabric, and even the trooper’s raised white panels & helmet grill – making these kicks real treats for fans, as well as great art tributes to the films.

Now all we have left to wait for are brown Chewie kicks with a bushy cuff, some red patent Imperial Guard ones, and a black & gold tainted C-3P0 pair. Series II, perhaps? (please leave the tan nubuck Jar-Jars at the door…)
