I do not respect the fact that these guys are bringing back a ralph lauren original boot, and called it new. All they did was add a patch and changed colors, ask dudes that were real polo heads back in the 90’s they’ll tell you the real deal.

boy, some of you are a bunch of blooming idiots…Lolife, you need to do two things: 1. get off your homophobic bandwagon (are you sure you’re not gay?) 2. read up on a few current fashion trends 3. understand that you don’t have to capitalize feminine…it’s not a proper noun.
Also, I don’t see you haters making moves like the fellas in this shoot. I understand constructive criticism, but straight up hating is ridiculous.
Finally, not only is this boot a great design (my only issue is with the logo, like Ghetto noted), but for the price point, they used the best materials available and I’m sure the craftsmanship is on point as well. Props to this collabo and shoot, both turned out nicely.

    FUK it…just wear adidas

  5. Posted by:Ghetto on November 26, 2009 at 8:11 pm

like the colorway…just don’t like the fact that they use the horse on the side patch…it cheapens the look of the boot in my opinion.

@slow down, oh yeah my bad i totally forgot that the original cookies came out in grey suede, a vibram sole, and rawhide laces…

@deadlydragon You are an idiot. These boots came out in the 90’s “originally” do you think these guys are 10 years old? I think you might be a tad bit jealous that you were not in any photo shoot. The only photo shoot you probably been in was a class picture. What makes these dudes wack? Do you know any of them….all you idiots who comment on this how about you show us your style??? you morons.

  9. Posted by:DeadlyDragon on November 25, 2009 at 12:22 pm

LOL @ LOLIFECONQUISTADOR!! You do have a point. These dudes are pretty wack and weren’t even around when these boots originally came out. Its not even a Cookie!!!

Some of you people are so fucking stupid. First of all, this boot came out in the early 90’s. This is not some mismash of current trends as one of you stupid fucks said. Second, the photo shoot is for the boot which means they have to SHOW the boot you idiots. That’s why pants legs are tucked in or rolled up. What the fuck is wrong with you people? Did some of you even finish high school?

i can’t read some of these comments. i literally don’t understand them.

  12. Posted by:Sammy Sam on November 25, 2009 at 12:37 am

Listen… I don’t know if you know this but you are stylistically illiterate. This is not some “super duper get with the times fashion forward blah blah blah whatever else you don’t understand about style” boots. Thin military style boots with tucked in legs have been in for three seasons, look at the shows. Like Gorgomell said this goes beyond taste throwing together just a mismash of current trends (hiking boot, military style, moccasin toe) like just one more cop for the sake of the hype releases by a fashion house who although they’ve been repping the current style trends for a hundred years couldn’t buy a piece of the market with a hundred collabs.

lol, some dudes never move with the times. lolife is gonna be the dude or that uncle when they 40, they still think they 18, not dressing his age and shyte. why buy the boot if you gonna cover it up? stick with air force 1s then. lol

  25. Posted by:Mat on November 24, 2009 at 3:47 pm

To all below posts making fun of the way they’re wearing the boots:
They’re SHOWING the boot…why would people want to look at pictures of a pair of boots when they can’t even see the whole thing. i like the look, and do it myself, it truly shows off the boot and makes for cool proportions of your entire fit. Not to mention these kids are all making moves in the fasion industry, and got these boots before their release date for FREE

Are u guys serious? Those wu tang days are over. Grow up orrr come here, let me coach you. Boots look fresh. And by the way if they rocked jeans over the boot, how would we see them? #Stupid.

  28. Posted by:dosu on November 24, 2009 at 3:24 pm

if you can fit jeans over boots, your wearing some pretty damn huge ugly jeans then.

  29. Posted by:dmwalking on November 24, 2009 at 3:14 pm

LOL. It ain’t 93 no more homie. Ever heard the term fashion forward? Well, focus on the “forward.” Covering the whole boot with size 48 boot cut jeans is more disgraceful to the boot than tucking the jeans. Welcome to 2009.

  30. Posted by:madvillain on November 24, 2009 at 3:12 pm

Like most things in fashion, this style has its roots in the military. If you look at any pictures of military guys from the past 100 years, you’ll see that they all tuck their pants into their boots. It’s pratical; it keeps the bottom of your pants dry and prevents water from getting inside your boots (a common cause of trench foot).

  31. Posted by:Arcieri Keness on November 24, 2009 at 3:08 pm

LOLIFE, boots are suppose to go over you jeans depending on the cut, it’s to keep out natures elements. If you look at some people who wore timbs back in the day you’d see what I mean. However, all these dude do look like clowns, honestly… I’m with ya there.

  32. Posted by:dosu on November 24, 2009 at 2:49 pm

  34. Posted by:LOLIFECONQUISTADOR on November 24, 2009 at 2:39 pm

Sorry homie but the whole tucking your jeans into your boots is mad Feminine.
You’re taking fashion tips from your girl rocking Uggs. Why is RL letting this little kid
    murder an iconic item???!!!
