Okayplayer TV: Wale

by Petar Kujundzic, November 10, 2009

It’s been a long time coming, but today marks the eventual arrival of Wale’s highly anticipated debut album “Attention Deficit”. And it sure was worth the wait as his LP boasts guest verses from high-profile artists like Bun B, Gucci Mane, Jazmine Sullivan, Pharrell Williams, Chrisette Michele, Marsha Ambrosius, J. Cole, Melanie Fiona. To mark this special occasion the folks at Okayplayer had a little conversation with Mr Folarin where he talks about his musical influences, his friendship with The Roots and much more. “Attention Deficit” out now!

    @ j

you should listen to his album. that shxt is definetly one of the hottest albums of the year. its kind of sad because he doesn’t get the attention he deserves.
Its cool though because once he starts dropping songs off his album we’re gonna see this kid blow up. I’m happy with where the new guys are going with this.

My favorite songs off the album are:
1.) TV in the radio by Wale ft. K’Naan
    2.) World Tour
3.) Triumph & Perscription are tied.
