Mors is a new sneaker brand creating high quality, stylish footwear with a fresh perspective. Future classics inspired by iconic individuals, stylish products and retro futurism. Mors offers a wearable and exclusive product handcrafted from premium materials. Crafted in Portugal by traditional factories, mors footwear is detailed to the best standard from the highest quality leather. Butter soft and strong arctic elk leather is used on many of the products. Mors has avoided the temptation to cut corners with cheap materials and cheap labour.

At first only two styles will be released in a selection of luxury leathers, ‘hoop’ high top sneaker and ‘net’ low cut tennis sneaker. The ‘hoop’ will be available in premium elk leather, soft elk suede and white premium calfskin, ‘net’ will be available in white premium calfskin. Both will be available from the mors online store. More inspirational materials and styles will follow.

Mors is the concept of Jonathan Morss. Jonathan is an experienced footwear designer and has worked for international brands including adidas and Nike. He found inspiration for mors within vintage science fiction, iconic personalities and classic products. Available now at Mors online store.

These are totally dope, man. I can see that the price bothers some of the people here, but honestly man, you get what you pay for. Looking at these pics, all i can see is supreme quality and detail. Often i hear people ask ” where is it made, China?!” or ” ohhh… they stepped down the quality of these sneakers”. Well here it is man, the local Designer who made it in Europe who wanted to make the best product possible. You cant say it isnt being offered.
How you goin to bust on this guy for making Vulcanized shoes!? Friggn EVERY shoe is vulcanized right now?!?!…

In the end man, I see a quality and timeless product here man, Great job.

These are the freshest thing I’ve seen in a while. Awesome to see these small brands trying to make it against big corporations!

Sk8 hi’s? These aren’t the same at all…. and they look in a different league quality wise.

    DOPE!!!!

uh can you say “sk8-hi’s”?? vans have done many high-end vault versions of the sk8-hi’s (the espresso cups being my personal favorites), that look WAAAAAAY better and are at a much more reasonable price point.. major *thumbs down* to these

I think they’re awesome! Definitely better than CP…. Dude… you have no taste!

These are so bad. I mean, who in their right mind would spend $400 on these? And Mike, dont even try and compare these to common projects, raf simons, and pierre hardy!!! Are you nuts?! These go nowhere design wise. No risk or conceptualization taken here at all. FAIL.

Stealing CP outsoles?? hahahahaha…… alot of people were using this outsole and last combination before CP. If you’re producing low quantities in Europe then you are limited on choice.. and this is a good (and popular) choice.

I tell you where he found “inspiration”, the same place he found those Common Projects soles. $400 & he’s at the same factory as CP stealing their soles?
Mors of the same in my opinion (couldn’t resist, sorry)… But he’s executed.
    One last
    One sole
    Two different uppers
A good start I suppose. Getting into the sneaker game is pricey (much more so than starting w/t-shirts)…
    Good luck with them

…and they are still cheaper than Common projects/ European made Creative Rec/ Pierre Hardy/ Raf Simons etc

You get what you pay for…. if you want something thats handcrafted in Europe then it costs…..

These are nice no doubt, but paying almost 300 euro for these is unthinkable.

  18. Posted by: Dude on November 4, 2009 at 12:01 pm

$385!!!! Get outta here! These are not anything special design wise. Nothing new or fresh….

  19. Posted by: treababy on November 4, 2009 at 12:01 pm

    Lotta cross-inspiration, build-quality looks A-1 though.
