One of the more interesting pieces in CLOT’s new “From Dust Till Dawn” Collection for Fall/Winter 2009 is its triple collaborative effort alongside Dr. Romanelli and Levi’s. Pairing a 50% Cotton and 50% Leather base, each entity adds their own unique spin on the project, which features classic Levi’s signature denim back pockets, a satin CLOT lining and Silver accents. A release is scheduled for December 2009 with retail set at $1,540 USD.

    Damn!! These pieces are fuckin tough! I Love everything Dr. Romanelli puts out. They’re fuckin talented and I would love to cop some of their shyt some day. Only thing is that my pockets is too slim for the price tags on their pieces but the craftsmanship on them make it worth coppin. Someday when my i get $. lol Hats off to Dr. Rom on all their work…

    These are actually pretty dope, except the oversized jeans pocket seems a bit out of place. Clot’s contribution to this is trivial, minimal at best… The whole logo silk insides don’t fit the mash up in any way. Romanelli’s better off collabo with someone else.

Its Romanelli’s craftsmanship and ode to Classic New York designer Dapper Dan that makes this exponitial leap in “Street Wear” a classic symbolism of a time when there was no acceptance of “Urban” culture. So people went to city wide tailors and they ripped up symbols of Affluence and made whole suits of that shit…
