The Clipse feat. Rick Ross – I’m Good (Remix)

by Petar Kujundzic, November 3, 2009

Gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated album “Till The Casked Drops” Virginia-based Rap duo The Clipse releases the video to the remix of their Pharrell Williams-laced single “I’m Good”. This time Malice and Pusha T invite Rick Ross to their ode to flossing as the visual theme is rearranged to a clubbing atmosphere. Expect “Popeyes” to be the next cut that will be blessed with according visuals. TTCD is set to drop December 8th.

Fuck the Clipse, Ive been a fan since Exclusive Audio Footage, I saw the video for The Funeral and it reminded me so much of a “Second Line” funeral in New Orleans that I actually thought they had ties to the city. But in any event I always appreciated their efforts towards making real thought provoking “articulate hiphop” as Malice would say. I own every release including mixtapes, I saw them perform in New Orleans at H.O.B. and they gave a 1000% show to a half filled venue. I greatly appreciated that. But in short I have to draw the line when Malice boast that he sending mixed messages on the God in Me remix. I dont expect hiphop to be a spiritual guide for anyone but when you purposely sabotage a song meant to uplift, thats going too far.

Same beat, different layout and lyrics, whole new video setup and an extra verse to the original :) sounds good to me, doesn’t look very good though :/ as long as there’s a southern rapper in it/ on it, it’s never gonna be good :P shoulda been Lupe or Ye tbh…

I dunno why “drug dealers” r doing videos with known cops. But I like clispe or the image they present cause we all know rappers r just here to ammuse us common folk.
