Swedish label Cheap Monday have ventured into the world of optical’ with the launch of their new range – Cheap Monday Clairvoyant. The collection has been created in collaboration with Flo Scandinavia by creating 16 different styles in various different color ways. The frames – 11 acetate and 5 metal models, are heavily inspired by retro and vintage glasses and sunglasses, and named after cult novels such as ‘The Darkness That Comes Before’, ‘The Colour Out of Space’ and ‘Blindness’. A new version of the Cheap Monday skull logo – featuring a ‘third eye’ – has been created for CLAIRVOYANT, and is a standard feature on the temple of each frame. The collection is in stores now but only in Scandinavia, there are plans to take it globally within the coming seasons.
