When talented people get together and design things that don’t make sense right away, they are doing something right. Hold tight you hating squirts, you will soon be jocking.

For all you hyperbreast haters: These two guys basically have designed your life since you were a baby! Remember one quote, “in 20 years these will be a classic!” Thats what these guys do…they are inventors of style, the very style that you wear on the streets everyday you goons!

What the hell do some of you know about engineering a shoe? These guys have been in the industry longer than some of you have been in your dad’s sack. They are meant for basketball and are meant to perform on the basketball court not on the street. Just because some of you own a few Jordans, that does not give you the so called “elite status” and knowledge on how a shoe should be designed. Ankle breakers happen to every god damn shoe that’s in the market. In fact some of the older shoes that were worn for ball back in the day, are horrible to play in. You would know this if you’ve actually tried playing with a pair J 4s on. They look great, but believe me they’ are not the best shoes to play in.

If you have to talk this much about a shoe.. isn’t there a problem…?
I thought the last Jordan was bad..! this baby.. top’s them all ..!

Tinker you know you didn’t have anything to do with this shoe. Nor is Sandy the creative guru he thinks he is… This shoe is ugly as hell, even with all the tech behind it you still look like an a hole wearing it. Classic Ugly Looking.

It’s funny when I hear people talking up the innovations in a new Jordan release, because 9 times outta 10, those J’s will never see a basketball court. —cheers//dom

ok, 1st of all these are basketball shoes first, not street shoes so performance should be the focus. If what these guys said in the interview was true than these shoes, like all from the Jordan number line are pushing the level of basketball performance. It’s unbelievable how much small details went into making this shoe. Everyone hating on these either don’t play basketball or have never played competitively. Jordans are also always ahead of their time, if people don’t like them right away, they’ll warm up to them. Good job on keeping up the Jordan Legacy!

That video is embarassing. A window helps the performance ?
Jumped the shark a while ago. Thank god they put out re-releases. Who has purchased the last eight or so years models?

Very basketball smart, but ugly shoe.

what happened to these guys….. ?
technically it seems interesting, some of the thought, process and problems
they tried to solve. but diluting all that consideration through this marketing bs, and trying to sell us on “stories” that were sutured on after the fact of designing it, is just painfully obvious.

these might play well on the court, but straight up look like sketchers.
the proportions are horrible and the ’sock window’ is the primary visual element?
i love how “transparency” and “breathability” are the big design/ marketing themes for
a basketball shoe being released for 2010. being lower to the ground, improvements to the zoom air assembly, and overall better “fit” should be the focus… which seems like
something they really worked hard on.

gives us back some of the old magic guys…
back when you weren’t so self conscious in a crap marketing video,
and didn’t give a sh*t other than making beautiful shoes….
