Opening Ceremony release a new pair of Ripple Sole Oxford’s made exclusively for the retailer by Yuketen. The shoes come in two colorways, Black or Brown, and are now available here. Opening Ceremony offer a bit more information behind the design.

The upper features a refined loafer-style top, designed with a sleeker silhouette for a classic look that can easily compliment a look that is formal or conversely casual. Yuki (Matsuda) claims his shoes are made for people who work hard, and fittingly the ripple sole design is actually inspired for people who work at docks and factories. They wear shoes with ripple sole designs, because the thick, asymmetrically positioned rubber provides traction and an elastic response that actually puts energy back into the foot, providing shoes they can work comfortably in all day.
