With brands like A Bathing Ape and Neighborhood originating from Harajuku, the area has always been a driving force in Japanese street culture and fashion. However, recently, there has been a surge of new brand gaining foothold in the Harajuku including Whiz, a brand started by Hiroaki Shitano. In the latest issue of GRIND Magazine, Hiroaki Shitano is featured with some of his friends from the Harajuku scene including Ichiro Sakuragi of ANOKHA, Tomonori Banno of Braitone, Kazuki Kuraishi of adidas ObyO kzk, Tsutomu Takahashi of adidas Originals and DKJ of Balabushka Remnants all wearing the latest pieces from Whiz’s 2009 Fall/Winter Collection.
