Starks x LIVESTRONG x Nike Sportswear Air Zoom Tiempo TZ “Austin Texas” Edition

Nike Sportswear worked with Lance Armstrong and Starks laces to create a Zoom Tiempo inspired by Lance’s hometown of Austin, Texas. The Air Zoom Tiempo TZ draws inspiration directly from the cyclists of Austin and one of the city’s most iconic cycling stores, Mellow Johnny’s. The shoe also draws inspiration from the art bikes created to help raise funds and awareness for the Lance Armstrong Foundation this Summer. Finally, it takes the iconic LIVESTRONG yellow and integrates it throughout the design of the shoe.
Highlighted features include: Soft premium oiled leather with aggressive anti-abrasive materials, black contrast stitching, “Texas” and “Austin” shoe heel details, contrasting yellow and black sockliners, and Starks collaborative shoe laces with black tips.
The Air Zoom Tiempo Austin Texas will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers (Mellow Johnny’s and 21 Mercer) on October 24th, 2009. Its re-introduction in the global market, together along with the other three shoes collaborated with cyclists from Paris, Berlin and San Francisco is scheduled in early November.
