Shown is an official preview from “Ink”, the debut collection by Australian newcomers Song for the Mute, composed of award winning graphic artist Melvin Tanaya and Parisian-born, Italian-trained fashion designer Lyna Ty. The collection includes subtle alterations to simple garments in restrained, plain colorways. Seemingly, the theme which runs through the line is a mixture of not only cuts but also physical texturing which plays an integral part in each piece. “Ink” is due for a release this Fall/Winter season at select retailers.
