One style only policy is for narrow minded folks needless to say. Streetwear, Catwalkwear, Premium Urban, all 3 concepts are very different (3 different industries too). Cannot compare easily or criticize on the same premises. Nevertheless, since all the posts have the same format, irrelevant/modest projects are showcased at the same level of importance as relevant releases which is sometimes awkward. This one is a good example: small brand/approximative statements/badly shot/ a mix of predigested influences from recent catwalks/... this is certainly not a winner, none of the clothes are hot enough to stand on their own. The offering is too weak. Uniqlo , h&m, Topshop are already doing the job of remixing influences under the "less quality but better price tag" formula anyway. Small labels shouldn't play a game which is already played by the bigger payers, they need to invent their own rules and shake up the industry be it streetwear, catwalkwear.
