ROC STAR 2010 Spring/Summer Collection Preview

A brand that is arguably at the forefront of non-conventional aesthetics and design within Tokyo’s fashion scene, the party-inspired ROC STAR line gives us a preview into next year’s 2010 spring/summer collection. Hard to miss patterns and graphics are paired with less than average shapes and profiles. The whole collection is directed by DJ DARUMA, one half of Japan’s DJ group the DEXPISTOLS as he counts 90’s street and sport as inspirations for this collection.

Anyone that thinks that this is some ultra next level shit that is just going over peoples heads needs to get their heads checked. period. shit is garbage. hiphop house and techno PLZ. a fucking skinhead on a t-shirt. PLZ. Just a bunch of half baked ideas from the late 90’s cobbled together to lacklustre effect.
Arent you guys sick of people selling you back to yourselves. Dont get me wrong and forgive me if i’m coming across as holier than thou. I fall for fashion all the time, its okay to like what you like and I dont think you should have to justify your preferences to ANYBODY. That said, you CAN get caught slippin. Case in point. “Roc. Star.” Whoa. I dont get it.
Those have to be hands down the UGLIEST shoes I have ever seen on a human being. The clothes are horrible that goes without saying, but the shoes are quite possibly the ugliest things I have ever seen in my life.

i can see the M.I.A type cats rockin’ that but aside from that it’s pretty much a japanese look that needs NEEDS to stay over there…i see the early 90’s inspiration with the tribal patterns n washes but the silhouettes are waaaaaaaaaaaay off
