Aligning itself with some cutting-edge retailers and brands in recent times, Opening Ceremony will be the latest to team-up with Timberland on a series of footwear styles for release next week. The styles include the round-toe style boot with an archival elastic closure and a moccasin style boat boot. The collection will release on Monday in limited quantities.

Just in at Opening Ceremony HQ: samples from our latest collaboration, Opening Ceremony x Timberland. Timberland is a brand that has been a part of my nostalgic childhood. I used to wear my classic yellow Timberlands with gray slacks and button ups in high school because I didn’t want to wear sneakers, and my Timberlands seemed to work for the semi-formal look that I was really into. They also allowed me to do any athletic events without changing shoes, and quickly became part of my go-to for concert outfits.

When this collaboration came about, we wanted to take two routes. We decided to do a super classic moccasin boat shoe in great colors, and also re-introduce this easy slip on shoe with changeable elastic laces from Timberland’s archives. The elastic system on this shoe brings this classic that took me through high school back for 2009. Thanks Timberland.

Keep your eyes peeled for when this limited edition exclusive hits stores on Monday!

I think tim boots and tight jeans go well. This is new. If you think these boots should be worn with baggy jeans *puke* this is not 2001.

Timbs a “hood” thing? Most people start to sound dumber and dumber on this forum everyday. Timberlands are considered work boots more than anyting my ignorant friend. What’s wrong with wearing slim fitting pants with TImbs? If you can pull it off go for it. Just don’t walk by HB 718 cause he’ll clown ya…

I mean real talk… WHO wears their Timbs with tight jeans with Gucci rolls? If I ever see ANYONE rockin’ it this way in the streets of NYC, I would clown the Sheeyt outta them!

uuuuuuh..I rocked Timbs cus it was snowing. I also rocked them when I built a house and because I make wood furniture and restore antiques, they seem to be well suited for that. Never was a “hood” thing nor a source of “seeming down” for me. Never really thought to bust em with fatlaces though. Dont meen to ride the fence but I’m not sure how I feel about these.

    I like em….but I agree with HB718….lol.

WTF is dude talking about doing athletic things in timb? Timbs are heavy as hell. Dudes be telling stories to seem down.

Yeah b, I used to rock wood soled wingtips to hoop son! Pshh get outta here.

“I used to wear my classic yellow Timberlands with gray slacks and button ups in high school because I didn’t want to wear sneakers, and my Timberlands seemed to work for the semi-formal look that I was really into.”

    Yeah, Right.

Another attempt to flip something we rocked in the hood (no elastic) and say “Oh we been wearing Timbs!”

    Ha.

5 years down the like y’all are gonna say y’all wore Goadomes hard too, huh?
