These are decent shoes I used to skate so I understand the whole fat tongue is a must but since I’m not skating anymore I’m not going to come up and start complaining about a skinny tongue na forget that noise overall these are decent shoes either u like em or u don’t yo don’t be a lame just complaining about a fat tongue just so u can lace em up 5 holes high than use the fat tongue so hold ur big pants half way down ur ass poser lames

Heres the tongue deal. dunks are either dunks or SB dunks (two different types). dunks no fat tongue on account that they are not for skateboarding and protection from a skateboard. SB dunks have the thick tongue for skateboarding. So when you say “I hate SB dunks with the skinny tongue or w/o the fat tongue” there is not such thing, they’re just normal useless dunks not SB dunks. Your welcome

if you DID skate dunks SB’s, then you’d agree that they sucked. dont get me wrong. they saved the tops of my feet various times. But slim is in, and the rest of the team is pushing these changes. Its funny how people are like “low sbs are wack without the fat toungue” or “i hate f’in skinny tongues!” When in reality, they are now just dunks. do you guys hate dunks? The only thing sb about em now is the tongue tag and the insole.

I don’t understand why people are so pissed about the tongue. The new SB tongues are still stuffed/fat, except the upper part of the tongue is stitched across. You still get the padded support from the fat tongue except this time lest bulky on your foot. I bet most of those who want the fat tongue back probably don’t even skate. You like the fat tongue because you feel it sets SB apart from the rest of Nike’s lines. The thinned out upper of the tongue is supposed to be more functional and less bulky. As for the color, i’ve seen the sample in person. These are dope. Clean and simple and ready to be shredded and not adored by hype enthusiasts. One.
