Greg “Craola” Simkins “The Pearl Thief” Exhibition Preview
by Eugene Kan, October 28, 2009

Greg “Craola” Simkins is in the midst of final preparations for his upcoming show titled “The Pearl Thief”. The exhibition set to take place at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles will come across as much more than an art show as it features interactive puzzles. Those who solve the puzzle will win a free 5×5 original Craola painting. The show’s theme tells the “story of a greedy monster who travels the globe stealing people’s imaginations, all in the shape of a pearl dangling inside each person’s head.” In addition to the videos provided by G1988, Arrested Motion also stopped by Craola’s studio for a look into some of the works set to be displayed starting November 3rd’s opening night which begins at 7 pm.
