Futura 2000 FIAC 2009 Exhibition
by Eugene Kan, October 21, 2009

A living legend that needs no introduction, Futura 2000 recently opened up his latest exposition in association with France’s FIAC 2009. The showcase at the Mezzanine Special School of Architecture features a series of works over the last 28 years from 1980-2008, all showcased on behalf of private collector Patrick Lerouge with this serving as a preview to a large-scale show in 2011. The exhibition offers an interesting look over an extensive period of time from one of the visual art world’s most respected writers. The short exhibition will conclude on Saturday, October 24th.

Love the Mckee marker. Found one of those in Tokyo a few years back and it still hasn’t run out.
these make me want to paint!
It’s Patrick Lerouge and also it’s a teasing for a big big expo of Futura in 2011

yeah, the work looks good too joey
Ha ha, good point Big Joey. He does look very hip hop, but most lesser men would just collapse!
Amazing paintings here. One day I will own one.
anyone remember the huge graff piece from the Anthrax club in Norwalk CT, around 1988-ish. Way before he was famous, before any writers were famous. It was sick, even for 20 years ago.
cAUSE HES CHILLIN EVEN IF HES IN A GOOSE DOWN COAT
it amazes me how our man never looks sweaty in a big ass puffy jacket and beanie while inside. i’d be dying.
