Aside from designing a new sneaker with Nike Sportswear this season, Cassette Playa also created a varsity jacket in the brand’s trademark bold and graphically-rich aesthetic. The jacket features mis-matched leather sleeves on a blue wool body. Throughout the jacket are a number of patches as well as a back-embroidery that reads “SINCE THE APOCALYPSE FEAR NO EVIL”. Available now at MAJOR.

    cassette playa is obnoxious for the most part lol get rid of the twin triangles on the front pockets and it might not look so bad.

    I am definitely not feelin Casette Playa’s designs. They have come out with some REALLY UGLY stuff. Im AMAZED that Nike teamed up with them. The shoes look horrible and so do the matching T-shirts for them. This jacket just adds to the nightmare.

    Haha yeah it’s not all that wearable but it’s incredible looking nonetheless. I love how detail-oriented, custom patches really seem to be coming in.
