The gold part reads "Motivize. Pulverize. Realize." It's from the videos. "Leroy Smith" as played by Charlie Murphy is a fictional character named after Michael's former high school basketball teammate, who was actually named Leroy Smith.

The shoe is cool as a promo/sample... not quite sure they should've been produced. Certainly not with a price tag of $135.

Jordan Brand has lost their minds. Actually no, they have lost there identity. What started as a signature shoe for an athlete transformed into a brand. After Mike moved on the brand remained, but the the focus was lost as they no longer had a player to model the sneaker for. The Jordan evolved yearly, as Mike and his game changed so did the shoe. Once he was gone for good they kind of just designed blindly or at least it seams that way. There is no player to mold the shoe after anymore. This carries over into everything that Jordan does. If you see their shirts and clothing its terrible. The old Jordan stuff never looked like the bullshit that is out now. The old Jordan stuff was FLY! This shit now is garbage. Cartoon shirts with a hand with 6 rings on it that looks like a 6 yr old drew it? C'mon. This shoe is awful too. I have to say though some of you people that are dogging it are part of the reason. You are probably the same people that bought he Mars IV's... I love IV's too, but really? That shit was corny. A huge success though so in Jordans defense why not try and follow it up with some BS like this and see if it works? As a whole Jordan brand is going down hill IMO. I LOVE some of the older original stuff, but when I see shit like this it makes me puke. The sad thing is they will probably flood the market with these things, and have people killing one another for space jams.
