STPL Cut & Sew 2009 Fall “COMMUNITY WORKS” Collection
by Eugene Kan, September 22, 2009

Throughout each of its collections, STPL as a brand has focused on the world of academia as a central theme. In its 2009 fall collection, the theme “COMMUNITY WORKS” revolves around the current trend in unemployment and the resulting shift towards volunteering. The lookbook shot for the cut & sew collection involves actual volunteers from initiatives such as God’s Love We Deliver, Housing Works and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. A further look into the collection including product shots can be seen here.

Amazing how far Staple has come. I remember then way back, like ten years ago when they were just screening plain graphics on T’s. Nothing great, but over time they started to kill it. Now they dominate. Collabin’ with everyone and selling whole lines!
