mash cinelli benny gold 1 MASH SF x Cinelli Fixie Bike 2010 Preview

Building off the success of this year’s all-new design, renown bike specialists Cinelli link up once again with MASH SF for second release for 2010. This latest interpretation features new color and design efforts done up by Benny Gold, while maintaining all the same specs as the current release. The custom paint and frame stickers are meant to resemble the shape of the Mash lighting bolt and give the bike a feeling of speed. Features include: pursuit track geometry, monochromatic paint scheme and a retro-Classic Cinelli crest logo on the head tube. The same price as before ($850 USD for frame, fork and headset) can be expected, with availability through Cinelli Authorized Dealers.

I contacted Cinell USA and they told me this: “There are no changes to the MASH frames from 2009 to 2010″. Contacted Mash and they said “we will be offering a smaller size (48) for 2010, otherwise the same”.

So I guess that seals it. No changes, apart from offering a smaller size frame and the green color along with the gray.

Stuntastic you sure they changed the geometry? I emailed Official Cinelli dealer wrenchscience and they told me “the only difference between the 2009 and 2010 frame is that they are offering a second color”. If they’re the same I might just try and hunt down an 09 model.

    FEI:

They tweaked the geometry, its not as aggressive. (sloping downward top tube.)
So its different than the 2009 limited edition Mash Cinelli.
Plus, they ARE releasing it in the original color tone.

the frame is sick, no question.Cinelli make some of the most beautiful frames today, but i am not a fan of drop bars with threadless headsets, especially thomson ones, seems odd.
