As a special exhibit accompanying the “Luxury in Fashion Reconsidered”, an exhibition which explores the idea that clothing can be considered a contemporary form of luxury, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo will display Comme des Garcons dresses selected from the Kyoto Costume Institute collection in a space created by architects Kazuyo Sejima (Noted for her revolutionary design approach in such projects as the Louvre-Lens) and Ryue Nishizawa (SANAA). The opening of the exhibition will be October 31st and will run through to January 17th.
