The 2009 MTV music awards took place last night and if you didn’t watch, it sure was an eventful night filled with surprises. One of the highlighted moments was the show-closing duet performance from Jay and Alicia Keys. What seemingly was one of Jay’s greatest performances ever, took a strange twist as he and Alicia Keys were crashed by Lil Mama on stage a la Kanye West. Check out the video.

    I was speachless when she walked up on stage….

    If you noticed, Jay-z looked at her like….WTF?! This is my moment…I earned this moment! Who in the Fuck allowed her to come on stage like that? He even tapped her leg as if he was saying “run along now”…

    I mean. the anticipation is building throughout the entire show while they follow him with camera’s through the streets of New York as if he is the President of the U.S. . He makes this grand entrance and actually sells himself as the all mighty “HOVA”. coupled with Alicia keys belting the song out with such passion! I mean this is a great performance!! …..and then lil mamma walks on stage….SMH
