Finding inspiration within the garments worn by American railroad workers during the “steam” era of locomotion, Vans presents their new Shaffer’s Crossing Collection for the Vault campaign, dubbed after the old train stop in Central Virginia during the glory days of the Norfolk & Western Railroad. This special package features the use of premium wool fabrics paired with high quality full-grain oiled leather and Scotchgard™ treated pig suede. The line has been reinforced in high wear areas and complimented with a supportive, molded footbed. A release is scheduled for September 2009, with the pack boasting six styles in total, three of which include a 46 LX, Chukka Boot LX, and Old School LX, all of which can be seen below.

    nice.vans is maybe finally starting to put out more quality shoes.few and far between.got a lot of regular vans (ie not Vaults etc) and the quality is terrible
