Known predominately for his artistic work, Taka Hayashi’s recent 2009 fall collection with Vans Vault has showcased another dimension to Hayashi with a series of notable releases over the last little while. HUF drops the latest style seen here, the Velocita LX which features a clean and minimalistic upper. The heel tab flips up to reveal a bit of color and contrast.

only douchebag fashion bike hipsters get hated on. it was fine when it was simply a bike messenger culture thing!

the color and contrast might also be known to some as world championship stripes.

    its a cycling thing.

quick, everyone delete your props and hate on the shoe cuz its bike related an (most likely) going to be marketed to fixed gear riders.

    1, 2, 3 GO!
