All hand made in France, Selima Optique have just released new colourways of their classic ‘Andy’ and newer ‘Chad’ Sunglasses Models. Tortoise is the dominant colour featured across this release; the animal theme is continued as each pair comes with a different animal-shaped cloth. Each model is complete with a hard leather case and every piece is available now at Blackbird.

@Wil : The classics and their updates are what people want right now. What are you wanting, shields and oversized blinded-out, mass-produced logo driven sunglasses? You’ll have to go to the mall for that, not Hypebeast. The stuff is beyond played out and was in style way too long. Vintage styling comes back for a reason, because it is effortlessly cool.
@Stuart Sorry to hear you had difficultly with Selima’s staff. If you find yourself in Tulsa, stop by Black Optical. I’ll help you without the attitude

I used to be a big fan of Salima Optique, and had been shopping at their SoHo NYC location since ~2000, but as of late, particularly at the 72nd Street location, found their staff to be incredibly arrogant and rude. Enough so that I’ve stopped going there (both locations) and have found many other eyeglass stores with glasses of the same caliber and a staff that is actually appreciative of your shopping in their store.
