Following up on yesterday’s preview, Jay-Z drops the official video for “Run This Town”, featuring two of the biggest headliners in music today, Kanye West and Rihanna. The single is yet another highly successful track from the long awaited Blueprint 3 album, set to drop on September 11th.

i strongly disagree. kanye doesn’t really have better verses *maybe maybe* better punchlines, (rav 4 is nice) but that’s it.
jay-z’s flow is what gets stuck in my head, and what i remember about this song.
Kanye has been a gay fish the last year or so, but he kills this one with the mood ring line. Otherwise, the video is pretty dumb… Not Jay’s best verse by far.
Middle aged man playing dress up, accompanied by girl who can’t hold a tune to save her soul, and a self pitying narcisist sidekick. Awesome
Rhianna’s voice sounds like it was AutoTuned, which is funny considering Jay-Z’s other track from this upcoming album.
Song was OK. If it wasn’t for the video, the song wouldn’t have much replayability.

Like pretty much everything about it. Best part was the direction and the editing, dope. Jay needs to give lessons on how to stay relevant in rap so long because he is old as hell but still schooling the rap world. Kanye of course always has his clever verses, I’m a big Kanye listener. Rhianna, I think she brought a nice aspect to the video. They had a triangle of “influence” going on and it made complete with Rhianna’s presence.
