Last week marked the opening of the two-artist exhibition “Pop Crime” at the Opus Gallery in Newcastle. Featuring two formidable artists in London’s SheOne and New York’s CRASH, their contrasting styles were set up opposite one another creating a nice foil between the colorful and bright styles of CRASH versus the monotone approach of SheOne. To cap things off, SheOne also did a large scale piece that occupied the center of the room as it featured a vintage Mini Cooper that will be later auctioned off to benefit charity.
