Following up on their successful Japanese launch earlier this year, Converse and heralded fashion label COMME des GARCONS team up for another batch of sneakers, utilizing the timeless Chuck Taylor All Star model. The shoes will see a worldwide roll-out at the end of this month at select COMME des GARCONS stores, including their New York, London, Hong Kong, Paris and Seoul locations. A second launch will take place in October at top Converse retailers in the US, Canada, and China as well as flagship COMME des GARCONS stores. Inspired by an original 50s U.S. Army model within the Converse archives, four different models will make a release, with retail set at $100 USD a piece. Stay tuned for a closer look into the collection.

    commes X chucks….did it for money makin of course.
    i liked the raf simmons X chucks more, coz got more details even though commes direction is minimalism. stupid shoe even the prize is not that high !!!

    Yeah and all of their other stuff is just plain t-shirts and sweaters with a heart stamped on it. Comme is the best…. NOT

    well it´s realy just a chuck with a heart man! not even confortable, of course if you´re a comme des garcons fan it´s worth it, also is just printed isn´t it? if it wasn´t for the brand nobady would pay that

    yeahhh boiiii. What people don’t realize is that this is something that doesn’t happen that often that’s why it costs more. Two great labels coming together to make a product is always worth more than a typical release, stop complaining. And don’t be mad cause you’re broke and if you aren’t again stop complaining.
