A Bathing Ape x CASIO G-SHOCK DW-6900 “Black Rainbow”

Tomorrow marks the release of A Bathing Ape’s latest CASIO G-SHOCK collaboration. The “Black Rainbow” DW-6900 features a predominately black body with the G-SHOCK logo done in a colorful multi-colored rainbow motif. The backlight features the iconic Bape Head when lit up. While this watch will be available at Bape Shop NYC on August 25th, the web-release is slated for Wednesday, August 26th.

    It’s actually a completely different Bape G-Shock then any other to be released. It;’s really sleek with a nice shine, almost patent leather looking. The face is silver/grey, not like any of the previous editions. Overall its a really sharp looking watch.

    as for comparing fake bape g-shocks to real ones…

    The quality is not comparable, the light up ape is muchhhh duller on the fake watch. The writing on the band and face rub off eventually. You get what you pay for, there is no comparison.
